Do you already have some sailing experience and want to cover miles, gain more experience, and become more confident as a skipper?

The **Seven Seas Flotilla Project** takes mile-building to the next level and offers you an immersive sailing experience in the wider area of the Cyclades and the Saronic Gulf.

&nbsp; 

Two - or more - sailing boats, one with students of our RYA training schemes and the other with more experienced sailors – that’s you! - , travel together, sharing experiences and their common passion for sailing.

&nbsp; 

The aim of the trip, apart from offering you a unique Greek summer experience, is for you to become more assertive when you take the helm: although a skipper will be accompanying you on the boat to supervise the trip, he will not be allowed to intervene.

&nbsp; 

Crew members will take the helm in turns and make all the necessary decisions on their own, following the agreed itinerary.

&nbsp; 

### **How long**

Participants can opt for one-week or two-week trips. The sailing boat departs on Saturday mornings and returns to Alimos Marina the following Friday.

Classic - Monohaul or Catamaran

The **PWC Training Centre Set Up for Superyachts** is a comprehensive package offered in collaboration with **Diving Store, Lagonisi**.

&nbsp;

This service is offered to superyacht crews, who wish to establish a RYA PWC Training Centre on their vessel, in order to offer the RYA PWC Proficiency Course and issue RYA PWC licenses to their clients. 

### **What's included**

**1) RYA PWC Instructor course**

&nbsp;

The designated crew members first take the **RYA PWC Instructor course** in Lagonisi.


&nbsp;

During the RYA PWC Instructor course participants consolidate the syllabus learnt during the PWC Proficiency course.

&nbsp;

This course also places the emphasis on teaching participants how to effectively convey information to their future PWC students.

&nbsp;

The duration of the course is **3 full days**.

&nbsp;

Upon succesful completion, participants are awarded a **RYA PWC Instructor certificate**.

**2) Training Centre Set Up**

&nbsp;

After the designated crew members complete their RYA PWC Instructor course, it's our experts' turn to assist in setting up a RYA PWC Training Centre on the vessel.

&nbsp;

They will help you make all the necessary preparations to pass the RYA Inspection.

&nbsp;

In particular they will:

- Conduct a survey of the vessel before the RYA Inspection to ensure that all requirements are met
- Provide custom-made drafts of the operational manual and training manual, both of which must be submitted for review during the RYA Inspection
- Assist in preparing the rest of the paperwork required

### **Are you an avid sailor but you have always wanted to explore the underwater world?**

Then it’s time to take your passion for the sea to the next level by combining your mile-building sailing trip on a spacious catamaran with diving lessons and a SSI or PADI certificate!

Theory is taught online before the course. This way, participants will already have basic theoretical knowledge before they dive for the first time.

At the end of the trip you will have gained valuable sailing experience and will hold a recognised diving certificate, which will allow you to take your own dive trips in the future.

**Sailing:**

The aim of the trip is for participants to become more confident as skippers and take initiatives. A skipper accompanies the participants to supervise the trip, but he is not allowed to intervene.

&nbsp;

It is entirely up to the participants – who will take turns at the helm – to steer the boat and coordinate their crew, following the trip itinerary.

&nbsp;

 **Diving:**

The diving course takes place under the supervision of a certified Dive Instructor and a Dive Master and is divided in two parts:

**1)** Basic diving skills in confined waters (max 4m). For this part, the group is divided in two sub-groups that dive in turns for 3-4 hours.

**2)** Practice in open waters.

### **A must for operators of superyacht tenders !**

**The RYA Tender Operator course is intended to build on a candidate's powerboating knowledge and skills.**

Attendees will gain confidence in their ability to manoeuvre a powerboat more smoothly.The emphasis is on learning important skills in day and night pilotage and passenger carriage and management.

&nbsp;

The RYA Tender Operator course is very useful for anyone operating a powerboat day or night with responsibility for carrying passengers.

The course includes plenty of time to practice working with a crew member and operating short-handed. Candidates will practice and become familiar with pilotage for short passages from ship to shore, both day and night.

At your instructor's recommendation, who will assess your performance on board, you will be awarded a **RYA Day Skipper Sail Certificate**, that will allow you to charter a boat in most countries of the world.

**The RYA Coastal Skipper course is for those with considerable knowledge of sailing and navigation, who want to learn how to undertake more challenging coastal passages by day and night.**

**The RYA Intermediate Powerboat course covers the practical use of pilotage and passage planning by day on coastal waters using both traditional and electronic navigational techniques.**
